Hello! My name is Janice Clancey and I’ve been an English language teacher for more than 10 years in Canada, Japan, and Gambia. I currently work at a private language school in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. I feel fortunate to have a job in which I meet such a wide range of interesting people from all over the world, and from whom I am always learning.  I continually try to upgrade my skills as a teacher, and a few years ago I completed survived the DELTA.  My main areas of interest include materials writing, blended learning and mentoring new teachers.

Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a print and radio reporter. Starting this blog is a great way to combine my love of writing and my interest in TEFL. I hope you find my posts interesting and useful.
